The Thyroid gland secretes hormones that control metabolic activity in EVERY cell of the body. Hypothyroidism is when the thyroid fails to produce enough hormones. 


You may feel tired, and weak, may have gained weight and your joints and muscles may ache. 

One of the main causes is stress and the balance of stress hormones in the body.

How can you help yourself heal?


Eat more iodine-rich foods like kelp, which are sea vegetables. 

Avoid vegetables that suppress the thyroid like kale, broccoli, cabbage, soy, and Brussels sprouts.
