Feeling stuck? Fascia release can help you to get moving again
Research coming out in July 2023 looked into people with fixations in the body and whether the fascia release technique may be of benefit
But first.. what is the fascia?
Fascia is the connective tissue that is found BELOW the skin. The fascia attaches, stabilise and strengthens the muscles and helps to enclose different organs
Regarding pain, the fascia has nerves that are almost as SENSITIVE as the skin.
The research found that when the fascia is released with manual therapy:
- increase in range of motion
- better pain control
- improved balance control
Next time you're in the office, speak to the team about your limitations and see how we can help you move better and improve your function with fascia release.
