"Exploring the Benefits of Shockwave Therapy for Spinal and Muscle Hygiene"

How shockwave helps your tendons heal:

Tendinopathy is a common condition that affects the body’s tendon structures, causing discomfort, restricted movement, and reduced functionality.

Tendons are composed of units of cells and extracellular matrix surrounded by layers of connective tissue. They serve as conduits for the transmission of force between muscles and bones, facilitating movement

Athletes who participate in strenuous activities are especially prone to tendon injuries, which make up almost half of all sports-related ailments

The research concluded no matter where the tendon pain was, shockwave therapy was EFFECTIVE in helping pain and tendon healing occur

Other areas that shockwave have been effective for are :

Knee Osteoarthritis - also adding muscle strengthening exercises was more effective than just shockwave therapy alone . Shockwave was more effective than corticosteroid injection, kinesiotherapy, PRP injections and physiotherapy

Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy - for pain relief, and maintenance

Plantar Fasciitis

Elbow Pain- Shockwave was SUPERIOR compared to steroid injection and local massage
