How Geranium Oils Can Improve Your Health and Well-being

What is Geranium oil

The Geranium plant is perennial shrubby plant, native to Southern Africa and of all the many varieties of Geranium, Pelargonium Graveolens is the most commonly used variety for the production of essential oil. Egypt is now the main producer of Pelargonium Graveolens due to its fertile and rich soil on the borders of the Nile River.

It has a sweet floral scent and the oil is widely used in aromatherapy as contains a number of beneficial compounds. Geranium oil is often compared to the rose essential oil because they share almost the same therapeutic traits.
