Does bad posture lead to chronic lower back pain?

Studies have shown that abnormal posture creates abnormal stress and strain in the spinal structures and muscles

This research article looked at FORWARD head posture and PELVIC TILT and LUMBOPELVIC Sagittarius alignment

Good posture should have shoulders back, neck line with shoulders, and an optimal lower back position

Ultimately you want a Neck and lower back curve to have a C curve and a thoracic spine to have a reversed c curve

Lumbar lordosis has a strong positive correlation with pain intensity

With low back pain being a worldwide health problem, it's worrying that stats are showing that between 5 to 10% of low back pain patients will develop CHRONIC low back pain

When patients have a forward head posture, it puts increased strain on the muscles of the head, neck and shoulders and can result in abnormal afferent information ( afferent is carrying information from sensory reception from the skin and organs to the brain and spinal cord)
