How Do Chiropractors Help?

We, as chiropractors, will assess the muscle range of motion, tightness and flexibility to determine if the muscle has what is called a trigger point. If, after an assessment that the Chiropractor finds a muscle dysfunction, we will treat it with massage technique called trigger point therapy, stretch out the muscle and ensure the muscle has its full potential to heal.

When looking at the 5 Pillars of Health:

-Food: eat smaller meals as heavy meals burden the digestive tract and weaken the back.

-Eat plenty of fibre as constipation worsens back pain

-Water: drink water every 2 hours to give the muslces plenty of nutrients

Here for your reading are some of the many articles about Chiropractic helping different conditions, age groups and mechanics of the spine

We hope that this clarifies how Chiropractic can be utilised with other health paradigms to optimise patient health/outcomes and leads to less confusion on how Chiropractic can help with emperical evidence.
